Hey Laura, this was really good to read. I felt like this for a lot of pregnancy too. I think, as a naturally anxious person, I didn’t let myself bond with my baby before they were born… this anxiety continued in the first few months of motherhood and I was in survival mode a lot of the time rather than blissful bonding but it came and is just so strong now. You’re not alone xxx
Aw thanks Lucy! I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying your bond with your little one now. I'm coming around to the idea that the bond is even more special because it didn't come easily :) xxx
How old is your little one? Also it’s probably more common than we think. Many people aren’t honest with their emotions in motherhood if that makes sense 💕
Wow, such frank writing, Laura. I'm sure sharing these stories will help others who have felt similarly. (And I hope it helps you process the experience a bit for yourself too, now with the benefit of some time distance.)

19 months now and too adorable! Definitely, I could not be honest at the time it felt impossible. But feels good to start processing it now :)
Ah, thank you. It’s all a bit of a brain dump but hopefully some of it resonates or is helpful! 💕 and thank you SO much for reading!
Always here if you need to chat! You’re doing amazing, don’t forget it 💕
Aw thank you that means a lot! You too. I'm really enjoying your stuff! Xxx
